EMMY AWARD WINNING HOST OF
SMART START KIDS TELEVISION SHOW
Annual Midsouth Regional Emmy Awards, Smart Start Kids Television Show won an EMMY AWARD in the Children's/Educational Division.
WRAL-TV (CBS) in cooperation with the North Carolina
Partnership for Children, launched Smart Start Kids, a television show for children and their families. The 30-minute show features North Carolina children from ages three to five-years old. In Smart Start Kids, young children are the stars! In each program, the children tell THEIR news, explore THEIR world, and report THEIR experiences. The accomplished and delightful storyteller, WILLA BRIGHAM, who encourages the children not only to listen to stories but also to add to the story lines and to turn other activities in directions of their own choice, hosts the programs.
