Willa Brigham, is an avid writer of short stories, poetry and songs. She is the host and TV personality of the Emmy winning television show, “Smart Start Kids” produced by WRAL-TV and a nationally recognized inspirational speaker. Willa uses her many talents and contagious energy to stimulate audiences of all ages to join her on a quest for excitement, adventure, and a joyous tour of your creative imagination. Her goal is to empower children and adults via the spoken word to believe in themselves.

Presentations are educational, motivational, inspirational and down right entertaining. Willa will inspire you to laugh and ponder her message. Each program is designed with your specific needs in mind. Willa has a passion for entertaining and bringing laughter to audiences of all ages.

Willa is the TWO-TIME, Emmy Award Winning Host of the Television Show, Smart Start Kids, an Inspirational Speaker, Storyteller, Writer, and Performing Artist.  She is a native of Tuskegee, Alabama, a graduate of Alabama State University and Indiana University. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Health and Physical Education. Willa has entertained and delighted audiences across the US and to standing ovations on cruise lines in the Caribbean. This busy artist has 6 delightful CD’s to her credit. They include Willa Will, Something GoodStinky Johnson and Other TalesHappy Health Habits, What You See, and Midnight Quilter.  Willa is also the author of Golden Years – a collection of stories and poems dedicated to senior citizens and The Pizza Tree – a colorful and imaginative story about sharing. 

She is also a multi-dimensional Fiber Artist with an impressive collection of original Note Cards, Sweet-Heart Ladies’ Portraits from Fabric and Paper and Thread Art Wall Designs.
